    They say if you break a cup after getting married your marraige is unlucky.
    If the cat scraps timber you are sure to have a storm.
    If your right ear is hot there is someone talking bad about you and if you wet your ear they will bite their tongue.
    If you make a purse out of a weasel skin you will be rich for life.
    It is said if you see three magpies on the road before you, you will get a letter.
    If you see a butterfly flying round you, you will get a letter.
    If a coal falls from the fire a stranger will come to the house.
    It is not right to count the nails in a shoe and if you do they will fall out.
    If there are two spoons in your cup you will be at a wedding.
