    Here are some of our local cures.
    If you have a headache and to get butter milk ginger, and sugar boil them together and put them on your head it will cure you.
    If you have warts on your hands and wash them in the water that the smith cools his iron in it will cure you.
    If you have the ringworm and rub the white of an egg mixed with alum on it it will cure you.
    If you have warts on your hands get a bottle and hold it over the fire until it is full of smoke and then put it on the wart. When you pull the bottle off the wart will come with it.
    The tongue of a fox will take out jags.
