  1. An Old Story

There was a man who lived in Altashane about one hundred years ago.

    An Old Story.
There was a man who lived in Altashane about one hundred years ago. His name was Dick Houtain. he was a farmer and he was stuck on the stomach with a sword by a revenue man. It happened on a now above Altashane called "Arda Cro." The revenue men were out on hunt of stillers. Dick Houtain was not stilling but he followed the revenue men and this revenue man was tired out so he turned round and stuck Dick on the stomach with a sword. Dick pulled out the sword himself and he fell there then he was carried home. He died that night. The sword could be seen about the place about sixty years ago. I heard my father saying that his father saw the sword about sixty years ago.
