  1. Cabadoey Braes.
Come all you true lovers of Erin's green shore
Assist me in praise of the girl I adore
She is comely and handsome polite in her ways
She is the star of the North and the flower of the braes.
    II
She is comely and handsome and is very well known
And she lives at the bottom of Sweet Inishowen.
Her skin like the snow on yone mountain so white
Her two sparkling eyes shines tremendous bright.
    III
Her neck like the marble that doth polish fine
And her breath is far sweeter than the yew and tauntine.
Her cheeks like two roses in the month of July
When first she beheld her as she passed me by.
    IV
But if she would consent with her love to maintain
I never would leave her to cross over the main.
I always would stay with her and on her to gaze
All around Cabadoey I would spend all my days
    V
Before I conclude I will explain her name
Because that I loved her that beautiful dame
One half of yone mountain covered over with snow
