    four ozs of taking soda and a pint of water mixed.
    Engle Berry:
    (1) Tie horse hair on it
    (2) Rub Archangel tar on it.
    (Poke:
    (1) Rub Jeye's Fluid on it.
    (2) Cut a piece out of the sheep's ear.
    Slip-tail:
    (1) Split the cow's tail in the middle put in a mixture of garlic and butter and salt into the heart of the tail and tie it tightly with a cloth.
    Other Cures:
    Cough: Liquorice Ball + Sugar candy dissolved in water
    Cut: Apply salt
    Burn: Buttermilk + baking soda mixed
    Drink for Sick People: Whey
    "Strangles" in Cows: Add sugar to boiled whin blossoms and give juice to cow.
    Humlock (a weed) is good for a strain
    It is good for swellings also.
    For a Hurt:
    (1) Crancummer is good.
    Chin cough:
    Drink mare's milk.
    For a Cut: Apply salt.
