  1. One time there was a poor woman living up in Drung. On a certain day a fairy drove a white cow into the byre. Then the fairy disappeared again. The cow stayed with her for three or four years, and she gave her plenty of milk and she had calves.
    On day the woman let the cow out. The cow began to roar and the woman hit her with a brush. The cow ran away into a bough and her calves with her.
