    faith. Late one night on the bridge between the two towns he met a Protestant stroller and ordered him to go home. "I dont belong to your church," he was told. "It doesn't matter - go home at once" ordered the priest. "Ill go home when I like." was the retort. "Alright," rejoined his reverence, "we shall see;" and without further parley turned on his heel and proceeded on his way. An hour or more afterwards, on his return, he found the other where he had left him - on the bridge. "Not gone home yet?" he queried sarcastically. "No" was the reply. "You said you would go home when you liked. Go now, when I like" and the other, thus released 'stayed not on the (final) order of his going.'
