  1. Holy Well
At one time people would go to the holy well, every morning and every night, and get down on their knees to say their prayers. It was no good unless they were in their bare feet. There used always be a tree growing the the middle of the well. About six or seven people would gather round the well and say certain prayers. People should have faith, and go to the holy well, say their prayers, and drink the water and pour it on the sore. Sometimes they worshiped the sun, moon and stars, then they are cured.
