    Sometimes they come to the farmer's houses and buy the cattle off the farmers. The buyers still come round the farmer's houses buying their cattle.
    The Milford fair was held on a hill at one time. The name of it was the Low Hill or "Barnabue'.
    There is no toll or tax to be paid now a days to get permission to drive cattle on the road.
    It is the custom when an animal is bought to give back luck money to the person from whom the animal is bought. They give from one shilling to half a crown of luck money. There is usually a lot of arguing about the selling or buying of an animal and when they have agreed on a price they clap each other's has or spit on the ground to show
