and feathers. The robin sits on the eggs for a fortnight and two days.  The weather can be judged by the behavior of certain birds. The crows fly low for bad weather and they fly high for good weather and the sea-pies cry loud for bad weather. It is said it was a drop of blood from our Saviour’s brow that gave the robin its red breast. The small birds follow the cuckow to feed her.
