  1. When there is going to be rain, the peacocks call, the frogs croak, the crows fly in groups, the seagulls stay on the land and the flies bite your arms and legs.
A red sun in the morning is a sign of rain and a red sun at night is a sign of good weather. If there is a ring round the moon it is a sign of bad weather, if the stars are bright it is a sign of frost and when you see a rainbow it is a sign of a shower. If the wind blows from the north you will have snow, but the south wind brings most rain to this district. When you see the smoke going up straight it is a sign of calm weather. A blue light in the fire is the sign of a storm.
