   In Olden times most of the houses were thatched with straw or flax some of the old houses kept the beds in the kitchen the bed was always placed in the corner some of the floors were made of clay.
   Some of the country people have half doors and most of the people burned turf and sticks.

   In olden times the most of the house were thatched with flax or straw. It was only till recently that they began to slate the house. Some houses are now flat roofed. Most old houses the people slept on a bed in the kitchen. Some old floors were made of clay or wood. There are some half doors in some houses. The light they used at night was a candle.
