  2. About fifty years ago there was old woman living in Marble Hill. She spent her time spinning. One day three men were passing by her house and they looked in the door and saw that she was dead and the three men went in to the house. When the neighbours heard that she was dead, a lot of them came to her house.
    The woman that was dead was eighty two years of age, and her knees were bent up. One of the men wanted to straighten her knees so he put a heavy stone on them and straightened them. When he lifted the stone again she sprang back, and while she was springing back she struck
