His circular shape is still to be seen and a holy water font was found in the walls a bishop formert resided there under a large stone in the castle was suppose to be a crock of gold which is guarded by a big black cat, a man in the townland formerly went to get the gold while mass was being read but the big black cat with fiery eyes spat, screamed, leaped at him, and clawed him so severely that he became blind
