  1. Below Mike Frains Land
    grows a lot of sloe bushes and the little hill id called Cnocan an Airne on the slop of the little hill was a very small house with sloe all around it. It was used for drying flac formerly and was called the Pucas house. a little below this in the next holding in Regan's land was an old spring well which is now dry. It is said that a woman in the downland went to this well soon after her baby was born before she was churched and when she took the water the well dried up.
