He did as the gauger told him and he found the two kegs in the office. Paddy wondered how the gauger's was [compared]? with his own. He sat down on the keg and drank his fill. He then put the gauger's keg into the bag with his own and sold the two in Nancy Mc Hugh's. He then came home again and made a nice song which is still in existence of how Paddy tricked the Gauger.
