When the English Lord saw them, he was very pleased, because he thought they were honouring him, instead of that they were listening to the Mass. He got off his horse and spoke to some of them, but none of them answered him. He thought at last they were dumb. He went over to the priest and as he went over to the rock, the priest leaped into the hole and miraculously the rocks fell on the Lord as he went to dive on the priest, and killed him, and the troops came running over, and found their great Lord dead. When they carried him out all the troops shot the people dead, because they thought that these people had a trap ready to kill their Lord. The forty people were killed but priest wasn't.
