  1. Far back in olden days the people were very poor and ate two meals a day while we the people of today eat four good meals.
    The meals at that time chiefly consisted of potatoes buttermilk and oatenbread which was made by the women of the house.
    One meal was eaten in the morning before they went out to work and one in the evening. Buttermilk, Porridge and wheaten bread were eaten for the morning meal while vegtables potatoes was eaten for the evening on
