  1. Many accidents were heard tell of during these recent years of fires, drownings and many others.
    About two years ago a sad thing occurred on the "Balheary Road" about three miles northwest from Swords. A man and woman were living in a caravan. One night there came a might wind-drift which caused the van to overturn. It happened that they kept an oil-stove in it, this blazed up and burned the whole van. They could not get out in time
