  1. Every body both young and old look forward to Christmas time because it is the feast of the Nativity and it is a season on which many ancient customs are observed in Swords.
    On the Eve of this great feast it is a custom for all little children to hang up their stockings at the foot of their beds for Santa Claus to fill them with presents.
    Some of the people light candles and put them in the windows on her long dreary journey ghrough the darkness of the night
