  2. The field next to the road in Fortwilliam is called the "Lodge Field" there up to a few years ago. The lodge was then knocked down as the occupant left it.
    A field owned by Mr. Ellis is supposed to be haunted. I consists of forty acres. At the forty acre gate a dog is supposed to be seen at midnight. As you would approach the dog it would become larger. Some misfortune would befall any person who would see it.
