    would be able to run on them. The people used to go out hunting hares as it was easy to catch them in the snow .They would track them as they were not able to run quick in the snow.
    A good many sheep got lost in the mountains as the owners could not reach them.A few people died during the snow.They had to be carried to the graveyard .They had to go across ditches and hedges as they could not make out the road.
