    There was once an old woman living in a house.
    Her husband had just died and some people were in the corpsehouse.
    There were a good many young boys in the house
    At the bottom of the house there were a few bags of turnips.
    The lads stole some of the turnips and began eating them.
    The woman of the house thought the dead man's knees were
