    The last holder of the property was Captain Burke who was killed in the great war in 1914. His widow and two children lived in Heathfield until 1917 when the estate was purchased by the Irish Land Commission for division among the people.
    Stock was landlord of Kilbride and a few townlands in Lacken Parish He lived in England and was seldom or never seen by his tenants tow home he was rather kind. The land was sold after the passing of the Land Purchase Act in 1903.
    Captain Armstrong was land lord of Muingreevagh Carrowcur and Carrowmnedan and might be said to be like Stock in dealing with his people. The land was sold in 1903
