  1. The folllowing are the games I play,
    Cards 25, capball, hop-scotch, draughts, Mary hunt, scout, blind man's buff, visible thimble, nuts in May, corners, Jackstones, marbles, chest-nuts, frog in the middle,
    Capball is played by placing (a) seven caps in a line each going by the name of some day of the week. Each gets three shots ; when he misses the three, he is out.
    Hop-scotch by making a square with twelve beds in it. If you hop around those on one leg you have won.
    Blind man's buff is played by [(pu) putting] blindfolding some one and he has to catch one of those he is hunting. The one that is caught is blindfolded and has to do the same thing over again.
    We amuse ourselves in August by blackberry-picking, in March-tops, in April - marbles, September - (nut cracking one player tries to break the other's nut, each nut being tied at end of a short string ;
    H-chestnuts are used.)
