   wash their feet before going to to bed at night. Some people say it is not right to fling out water at night for fear the spirits of dead people would be passing. Some people fling it out but they fling it very near the ground. People long ago used to wear trogrins for sore feet some people wear them to this day.

   We have a churn at home. It is about three feet high. It is a foot wide at the top and a foot and a half wide at the bottom. The various parts of the churn are the dash the bid the clabin. There is no mark on the sides of the churn. The churning is made twice in Summer because the milk is plentiful once in Winter. The women of the house and all the farm help to make the churning. People say it is not right for a person
