    On St. Patrick’s day people attend mass. They wear shamrock and harps in St Patrick’s honour. Throughout the day young men play the band through the town.

    On Shrove Tuesday people make several pancakes as the great fast of lent is approaching.

    On Easter Sunday people go to mass and receive Holy Communion in honour of Christ’s ressurection. It is said that the first person that dines at the house table on Easter Sunday receives great blessings then and during the coming year.
