  1. There is a crock of gold buried in Jack Waldron's field. One night Michael Conboy was coming from playing cards and as he was crossing Jack Waldron's field he was struck with a purse of gold in the back. No one can get it but a Conboy. It is said that three men would have to come and dig it while Mass is being said.
