  1. In the old graveyard in Aghamore are the ruins of an old church and in the south wall the track of a horn of gold.
    A long time ago a Sligo man heard a voice outside his door telling him that in the church in Aghamore he would find a horn of gold. Then he asked "how am I to find it? The voice answered, "Walk around and where ever a piece of mortar falls there you will find it."
