- Travelling folk still call to my district but not regular as they used long ago. There was one family of the name Molloy that used go round every year gathering rags, horse-hair, wool and bottles. They got paper made out of rags and they made brushes and matrasses out of horse-hair. the wemon made thread out of wool and they knitted the thread into stockings, shawls and gloves.
