    that day all the girls boys who are fit for marriage are salted by the people of the Towns in order to keep them from getting stale during Lent. Nothing is told by the people round this place about Whit Sunday or Whit Monday.
    Easter Sunday. Easter Sunday is a nice day for the children because they play a great many games. They also eat a great many eggs because it is said by the old people that it is right for the children to eat a great many eggs Easter Sunday.
    May Day It is said by the people that it is not right to give away any milk on May morning.
