    The winds coming from the Atlantic Ocean reach those sides of Ireland with great speed as there is no shelter or nothing to prevent it.
    Long ago storms were more severe and harmful than they are now
    Many lives have been lost and more property damaged by storms than any other kind and the sea claims its victim every year at Christmas time.
