    There is a castle in Cloongashel. It is an old castle. It is not knocked yet.
    It is in the barony of Kilmaine It was built in the penal days There are holes in the side walls where the english used to be firing at the Irish. They used o kill a good deal of people.
    There was an old church in Robeen Church-yard. There is nothing standing now only the side-walls It is a very old church
