  1. St. Stephen's Day in this district the people catch the little Dreóilín and bring him around from house to house in a box decorated with holly and laurel. They say a small Irish rhyme going into the houses so here it is as follows:
    A dreoilín, a dreoilín,
    A Rí na n-éin,
    Is mór a mhuirín
    Agus is beag é féin
Éirige suas a fhear an tighe
Agus tabhair beag no mor do'n Dreoilín.
