  1. Not far from Ballyforan there is a village named Currafarry. In this village there is a large rath or lis called Lisa-púca. Over twenty years ago there were two other raths quite near to the above mentioned. which is very large. The mound or dyge surrounding it is very large and well preserved. The are of land enclosed by the lis is about half an acre. At one side there is opening covered up in and the reason for covering it was that on hot Summer days cattle used to go in for shelter and get injured. It is beyond doubt that there ar three large rooms
