In this district there is to be seen three or four large stones and one across these. It is called "Leaba Dhiarmuid"and is believed that when Diarmuid and Gráinne were on the run that they slept there.it is situated by the side of a stream and a small wood of hazel trees. There are three large stones standing up and the one across has fallen down. There are several of these "leaba Dhiarmuid" in this district. In this "leaba"it is supposed
that a chief or some great lord has been buried there.People that have these "leaba Dhiarmuids"in their places never root them because they believe there is some witch-craft attached to them.
