  2. In the Holy Island there are tomb stones with inscriptions written in old Irish called Oghmagh.
    On the gable end of the Protestant Church in Tuamgraney which is one of the oldest stone buildings in Munster there is a figure of a man's head. Some people say it is the figure of Martin Luther's. This church was a Catholic and there were Monks living in it but the Monks were murdered by the Protestants and it is said that their blood flowed into a little stream that is flowing by the Church.
