  1. There was once a man who had a hump on his back. When he died he had to be tied down in the bed. On the night of the wake his brother went under the bed, and when the house was full his cut the rope which was tying him down, and with the hump on his back he jumped up in the bed. When they saw the dead man jumping up in the bed they all got frightened and some of them hurt themselves trying to get out on the door.
