  2. Tubrid Church-yard.
    In the vicinity of Duhill parish there is a district called Tubrid. In olden times the grave-yard was owned by a very severe land-lord who would not allow any Catholic Corpse to enter the graveyard withoutpaying a tax. Some of the poor Catholics could not afford to pay it. They agreed to say the De_Profundis for the intention that they might be allowed
