    harrows, spades and plough. I do not know how he makes these. The shoeing of wheels are done in the open air, because he has to light a large fire. No one knows any terms in connection with this.
    There is a belief that forge water is good for curing chillblains. No one knows of any smith having any privilege. The smiths are said to be strong men.
    There is no tradition in connection with these forges.
    They were usually the centre of story-telling. The forges have no figure of any historic event. I do not know of any derelict forges.
