Though its ruined walls are overhung
With greenest of ivy most grand
Where mass it was once celebrated
    In Kilcommon the charming townsland
    3
There is a bridge for centuries [?] errected
Its length over one hundred yards
On the past to out last habituation
    that lonely and silent churchyard
    Where our friend and relations
    There eyes have long closed
And it's now in this churchyard
    They lie in repose
    4
We were robbed of our chapel long long ago
All by a red cornels command
And by a cursed bod of yeomen
With vegngeance [?] they came to our land
Our restments they tore from our alter
But our sperges agains them did stand
For God in his love did protect them
    In Killcommon, the charming townsland.
