Any number of persons can play this game. The players draw a square and mark it off into little squares.
A number is put into each square. The players take a stone and hit each square in turn, saying at the same time. "Chip-Chop-Cherry.----------Hide and go seek is a game where one boy hides and the rest seek him. The rhyme when giving it out is.
"Hide and go seek
A penny a week,
Sheep's head on a Sunday.
Boston is a fine place
And so is Philadelphia, O-U-T- out.----------Queenie :
Three or more persons can play this game. One of the players turns away and the rest stand in a row, One of them hides a ball in his pocket. The first player then turns around and has to guess who has the ball.----------
Any number of boys or girls can play this game. It is called "Stocky Blue Bells."
