The daisy chain is made by slitting the end of the daisy and putting the other daily through it and the buttercup chain is made in the same way.
The quicken-berry chain is made by getting a needle and thread and putting the thread through the berries
The dog briar chain is made in the same way.
When the chains are made the girls wear them around their necks for necklaces.
The boys make snares for rabbits and they also make pop guns.
They also make snares for birds. The snare for the birds is a can with one side held off the ground by a short stick to which a cord tied. Food is placed behind the stick.
When the bird comes to the food the cord is pulled and the bird is trapped underneath the can(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
