- On one Friday about forty five years ago on the 10th of December.
The rain fell very heavily. There was a house down in the Island and there was a big sewer running in the direction of the kitchen door.
There was a turn in the sewer and at the turn the sewer was norrower than the rest. The sewer was not able to take all the water and then the water burst up and ran in the kitchen door. When the people came down the stairs and found the kitchen in a flood with stools floating on the water. The water was still running in and as fast as the water ran in the back door some water ran out in the front door.
