(a) Where the Mercy Convent is, that was occupied by one branch. (See anecdoles of Canon Doyle page 87.)

(d) A branch lived in Woodville - the present occupier is Capt. Roche.2. Boyd
(a) Mr. Evans Boyd the leading solicitor of his day - His offices (b) are now those of Mr. Kelly, State Solicitor.
(b) Dr. John Boyd, the leading medical practitioner of his day. He lived in a private house right where the Provincial Bank is now. He died in his car coming home from a sick call ^early on a very snowy morning about 54 years ago, at an advanced age.
(c) Mr. Thomas Boyd, Chilcomb Park, whose son shot in 6 1882 over agrarian trouble. It was the father who was aimed at, the son got the charge. They were driving home in a croyd
