  1. The following is a lost of the local prayers.
This prayer is said when going to bed.
E'er on my bed my limbs I lay.
God grant me grace my prayers to say,
If I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
Another prayer said when going to bed.
I lay my head upon this bed to sleep,
I give to God my soul to keep
    If any danger happens me
I hope the almighty God will waken me.
There are four corners on my bed
The are four Angels at my head
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John God bless this bed that I lay on
