  1. About sixty years ago there lived an old man named Jimmy Donnelly in Ballyhoolivan a townland near Mostrim.
    Jimmy was a very droll man and liked gossons very much. In order to be in their company he very often had them picking potatoes. Every few minutes he would say to them, "I hope the devil is not tempting you." No sooner would he have this said than they would throw rotten potatoes round the field.
