Herbs
There are many herbs that grow in the fields such as the nettle and the dandelion. The dandelion grows in the ditches and is seldom seen out in the middle of the field, II is used for feeding turkeys. It is also used for making medicine. The nettle grows in fertile land and is a cure for pains.
The dockleaf grows in bad land and is used for feeding pigs,
The "fooraun" is big white flower which grows in infertile land. The "sweet meadow" is a red flower which grows on swampy land about a foot high. The "Christmas daisy" grows in gardens and is a cure for bloodlessness.
Thistles grow in fertile land and the farmer has to cut them down every year.
