  1. There is a lake in Ballymore called Lough Seudy.
    About eighty years ago there was a young man living in the district who was in the habit of training water dogs and who was a very good diver.
    One day diving down into the middle of the lake, he came upon a little house, and seated inside the house was an old woman.
    There was a long snake coiled right around the walls of the house.
    The young man was very frightened but he knew that the people would not believe his story when he told it so he looked around for something to take with him, he saw six little
