One time when the Child Jesus cut his toe with a stone the Blessed Virgin cleaned it with a weed and ever since the weed grows with a red spot like a drop of blood on the leaf and it is called ... [left blank]
Another time when St Joseph was cutting a plank of timber he cut it too short for the purpose for which he wanted it and he did not know what to do as he had no more timber.
